About Us

Responding to visitors’ needs, the km TAXI by Kokusai Motorcars has created original sightseeing and shopping courses for foreigners. The famous tourist sites in all 23 wards are classified into several categories. Visitors can choose one tourist spot or shopping spot from each category, and we will set up the route. They also can decide on their own course. Our km TAXI is the ideal way to enjoy Tokyo.

Flat Fare

¥2,110 surcharge extension (per 30 min.). Terms and conditions may apply. We accept reservation by on-line or telephone.
Please make your reservation at least 1 week in advance.

parking fee, highway fee, entrance fee, meal fee are not included, reservation fee for 410 yen is necessary to pay.
We can pick you up from the departure or destination of 23wards in Tokyo, Musashino City and Mitaka City.
The charge is only for one taxi.
The time during your shopping and your meals will be calculated as the sightseeing hours.
According to the schedule of the tourist Facilities, the course will be changed in some special situation. Thank you for your understanding.

Can you plan a trip for me? Drivers who are expert in Tokyo will help you plan your trip.
Feel free to make a request according to weather or road conditions.

Can you plan a trip in advance? Yes, it's available by approx. 1 week prior to your trip.

Can I change my trip plan? Sure, feel free to tell us.

Can I extend my plan? Yes, feel free to tell us. Extension charge is 2050yen for 30 minutes.
Our Drivers

What kind of a person is a driver? All drivers have certification of Tokyo City Guide Exam. They are approx. 250 selected drivers out of 5000 from km group.
Also they have been lectured to give cardiac resuscitation and AED in case of emergency.。

Can a driver guide me? Yes, they he will show you around places such as the Imperial Palace and Sensoji temple.

Can drivers speak English? We have 20 English speaking drivers. Please sign up by an E-mail by 72 hours prior to your trip if you need English language service.
Reservations

What is a vehicle capacity? Sedan type vehicle - 4 passengers (does not include a driver)
Minivan type vihecle - 5-6 passengers (does not include a driver)

Can I make a same day reservation? Certainly. You can make reservations from 1 month to 3 hours prior to your trip.

Can you pick me up at hotel/my house? Sure, we will pick you up anywhere within 23 wards of Tokyo, Musashino city and Mitaka city.

Can you make an advance reservation for sightseeing facilities/restaurants? We are sorry, we can't. Please contact them for yourself.
Charges

Since I don't know about taxi fare, I'm worried. It's charter vehicle system so don't worry about a taxi meter and enjoy your trip!

What method of payment do you accept? We accept cash, tickets, electronic money and credit cards.

Are parking fees/admission fees included in service? No, they are not included. Also you need to pay the toll of the express way.

What happens to a driver if I have a meal during a trip? Basically, he stays in a vehicle. If he accompanies you, it's up to you to pay for him.
